When referencing the near year-old stream-based video game platform Stadia, many still joke about the concept of Google’s endeavor to insert itself into the gaming market. And while there is room to criticize the platform rightly so, there is still some aspects that illustrates to outperform its competitors. That being its free game program as part of the Stadia Pro subscription.
Coming from Sony and Microsoft especially, the lineups provided offer titles that either do not cover enough ground or simply leaves subscribers underwhelmed with another batch of titles that make owning the respected service as a real benefit. Howbeit, Stadia Pro these past couple of months has been impressive to say the least.
Last month with the additions of titles like Hitman, Metro: Last Light Redux, and Hello Neighbor illustrates recognized series are being provided for users paying for Pro status. Even more, other indie-developed projects also make way for Stadia Pro to help players experiment their taste buds. Now for October 2020, another batch of fresh titles are coming at the beginning of the month.

Again, Google further encaptures another great month of games offered to its Stadia Plus subscribers. Some even winning industry-recognized awards, the titles featured are actually more recognized brands than some of last month’s frontrunners.
While not paired with the free bundle of games for Stadia Pro, Google does use this window to also welcome Risk of Rain 2 to the Stadia storefront. The title happens to be a well-receive project that arrived back in August, but earned a cult following since the initial reveal and later Early Access release of the game.
