Today is the day that Jagex have opened up the Old School version of Runescape to everyone for free, even if you aren’t a paying subscriber. Free to play accounts are limited in the amount of content they have, but anyone who has played back in the day knows that ‘limited’ amount of gameplay is far more than most new games that release nowadays. If you have played in the past and are looking to get back on the grind, or are just curious about the older days of Runescape history, the game is now available to play free forever.

Oldschool Runescape is a 2007 version of the widely popular MMO Runescape, which was added nearly 2 years ago after the community voted for it.  The game is driven by the community who vote in polls to decide what content is added. This update comes a few weeks after it was polled to the member community, which passed with flying colors. Next week the Oldschool team plans on bringing back the ever popular Grand Exchange to the game as well, so it is a perfect time to get back in on the action! Get your gear ready, it’s time for some cow slaying, questing, and Pking! You can visit the Oldschool website HERE or just click the above image.
