It looks like Microsoft fixed all of the old Call of Duty Games that were on the Xbox 360 to have online matchmaking once again. Call of Duty titles include Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3. Previously you couldn’t load into matches although there has been an active community for these games still.
Playing Call of Duty like it’s 2009
This was spotted by @ZekcoFS on Twitter where he posted a video of him getting into an online match.

With there being Xbox 360 Backward Compatibility with Xbox One and Xbox Series XlS you can access old Call of Duty games that way. Oddly enough, these games coming online come after Microsoft wins the battle with the FTC where they tried to block the Activision acquisition.
You can now play Call of Duty like its 2009 all over again thanks to Microsoft. With Activision Blizzard most likely joining Xbox Game Studios, we could see more of this with old titles coming back to life.
In other Call of Duty related news, Nicki Minaj and 21 Savage are likely to come to Modern Warfare II and Warzone in Season 5.
