An open beta will be available to both Xbox One and PS4 users next week for Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 according to a new trailer put out by EA today.
Starting on January 14th, all players will have five days free access to a wide variety of the game and its features. Lasting until the 18th, the beta will let us take part in features such as two separate 24 person multiplayer modes, 4 map locations (Moon Base Z, Frosty Creek, Z-Tech Factory, and Seeds of Time), 6 new character classes, Flag of Power king of the hill mode as well as the new Backyard Battleground.
This is a new hub world that is different than what we are normally used to in the game. Rather than leaving for new maps each session, the hub world lets us take part in various mini games and missions within this one world. A new trailer was released which you can see below as well.
Plants Vs. Zombies GW2 releases on February 23rd, with Xbox One EA Access opening up on the 18th.
