Over 16 Thousand Cheaters Have Been Banned From Apex Legends

Apex Legends has been quite the story to start the year off and the month of February. In a recent update from Community Manager, Jay Frechette he addressed a few things about the game such as the crashes and cheaters in the game. It was revealed that there have been over 16,000 cheaters identified and banned from the game. If you happen to run into a cheater you can report them here and if you do not get proof, you can get their ID and report it then the rest will be handled.

A report feature will be coming to Apex Legends in the future it looks like as well.

“We have heard your feedback about a report feature in the game. I’ll just say that’s a very good idea :)”

What was also mentioned in the update, the folks at Respawn will be doing regular updates like this in the future to keep the community of Apex Legends updated. The updates won’t always have major news so temper your expectations when an update comes out in the future. It sounds like they’ll start hosting developer streams starting around the launch of season 1 which could be at the end of February or March 1st.

In case you forgot, Apex Legends beat a record for Battle Royale by getting 25 million users across Xbox, PC, and PlayStation in one week beating Fortnite’s record.
