Over 30 Million PlayStation 5 Consoles Sold Worldwide

During Sony’s CES 2023 Conference, Jim Ryan took the stage talking about what’s to come for PSVR 2 in the near future and provided updates on the PlayStation 5. The PlayStation boss revealed that December 2022 was the biggest month ever for PS5 with sales exceeding over 30 million worldwide.

Since the launch of PlayStation 5 in 2020 it hasn’t been the easiest to obtain and during the conference, Jim Ryan made it clear that the console will finally be easier to get for consumers. 

In May 2022 it was announced that PlayStation 5 hit over 19 million in sales and it’s safe to say the Holidays helped boost that number up since then.
