The Xbox One X is off to a great start with extremely strong sales in the UK, and with a large 4K content line-up to go with it.
The Xbox One X isn’t only the smallest Xbox by volume, but it is almost the most powerful, producing the best looking versions of games on any console. Several big-name titles have lent support with free Xbox One X “Enhanced” patches, including Assassin’s Creed Origins, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Call of Duty: WW2, and soon, Destiny 2.
With games like Destiny 2, COD WWII, and Diablo II, it looks like Activision Blizzard seem to be excited about enhancing games for the Xbox One X, but it seems that people might have forgotten that Overwatch is a possibility for 4K enhancements on Xbox One X.
This is what Blizzard sent to Windows Central:
“Overwatch team is excited with great possibilities Xbox One X opens. The team is currently exploring how the game experience can be enhanced on this platform to leverage the console’s incredible hardware, and is working on implementing 4K resolution in the game on Xbox One X. It is very important for the team to make sure the user interface looks natural on a truly big screen. We will share more details about our plans for 4K support on Xbox One X later.”
It’s great to see these companies already getting their big titles ready for 4K gaming as soon as possible and the list for 4K enhanced titles for Xbox One X are growing and we are at over 150 enhance games.
