UPDATE: It seems Pocket Pair got a little too excited but PUBG obtained the record before becoming a free-to-play game.
Our apologies, we were unaware that PUBG previously obtained the record before becoming a f2p game.
Again, our apologies for this misunderstanding. https://t.co/r1YeN2Bed5

Original: Pocket Pair’s Palworld has been the talk of the week as the game is clearly an inspiration of Pokemon but with a twist. Every day the game has been selling over a million copies and the player base continues to grow through its first weekend on Steam and Xbox.
The official Palworld X (formerly Twitter) account shared on social media that it now has the highest concurrent player count of any paid game in the history of Steam. Palworld’s all-time peak as of Sunday morning is 1,121,226 players with it still climbing. Keep track of the concurrent players on SteamDB.

There are a lot of Pals to catch in Palworld already and it’s over 100 different types you can find. Currently, Palworld is only available on Xbox, and PC, and not on PlayStation or Nintendo Switch as of now.
