During the latest Nintendo Direct in September, it was announced that Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door would receive a remake in 2024 for Nintendo Switch. Initially, a release date was not given by the company, but we may be getting the game earlier than expected.
Today, the ESRB (Entertainment Software Ratings Board) officially rated Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door which could very well mean the game could come in the early Spring or late Winter.

This is a good sign that perhaps release is closer than we think! pic.twitter.com/c1l27wa7eq

The rating doesn’t indicate when the Paper Mario remake will come out, but when these ratings happen it does mean a release could be revealed soon. Traditionally, Nintendo does one of their large Directs around January or February.
We’ll have to wait and see when the next Direct will be announced.
