“Say hello Master Chief,” Cortana echoes out of shot in the new teaser trailer for the upcoming Halo television show. After the initial 2013 announcement for the production, 2021 officially welcomes a few seconds of footage for the long-awaited TV series. Of course, the recognized Jen Taylor reprises her role for the AI as reported earlier this year as actress Natascha McElhone had to step down from the role.
This past Sunday, actor and lead star Pablo Schreiber on Twitter hinted that a certain announcement on Sunday would come to be “very exciting” for those familiar with his next upcoming role. Of course, Monday is November 15th which is also when the Xbox Anniversary Celebration livestream is. To make things more obvious, even 343 Industries lead Kiki Wolfkill eggs Schreiber on what he could be hinting.
During the presentation on Monday, fans got a glimpse of Spartan-117 alongside some gnarly scars on Schreiber for the role. You can watch the video below:
As promised already, the Halo television show is coming in 2022. Even with the new teaser video, Paramount only reiterated on the launch window for the TV series. It is likely sometime next year is where the firm will expand further on the arrival of the series with more to show off later on.
Elsewhere during the show, 343 Industries went on to do the impossible and launch a beta for Halo Infinite’s multiplayer. While not truly “impossible”, it is unheard of to officially launch majority of a new game ahead of its promised release weeks before. You can read the full report by heading here.
