Another year is on the verge of closing with another new calendar to welcome 2022. And while fans on PlayStation Plus were certainly satisfied with the welcoming helpings on behalf of Sony Interactive Entertainment with PlayStation Plus throughout 2021, next year is certainly to be more of that – you just have to remember to start writing 2022 moving forward.
For December, the service went out with a bang. For fans looking to add more exciting titles to their backlog on consoles, the PlayStation firm included entries such as Godfall, Lego DC Super-Villains, and Mortal Shell then. Moving forward, it is optimistic to expect more enticing games to be included the months after.
This week, Sony Interactive Entertainment shared the full roster that will be included starting in January. That lineup is noted to feature Persona 5 Strikers, Dirt 5, Deep Rock Galactic. The latter release from Ghost Ship Games previously shared its plans to incorporate a PlayStation version sometime in January next month in a recent announcement.
Among the headlined titles for next month, there is a disclaimer for how these titles will be handled. For the sakes of the Atlus-developed Persona 5 Strikers, it will only be available for PlayStation 4. But, the remaining Dirt 5 & Deep Rock Galactic will offer both PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 5 variants next month.
For more on the featured Dirt 5, our reviewer David Rodriguez received the game at launch to be “a great launch title, and the on track racing experience is sublime.” However, he adds, “It’s too bad a completely lackluster online takes a lot of the shine out of the whole experience.” You can read the full review by heading here.
