Bluehole’s PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was one of the first titles recently that has pushed the surge in the Battle Royale genre. Along with competing titles like Fortnite and now Black Ops 4 Blackout, PUBG has been expanding on the core game to bring more players to its servers.
Revealed on the Korean Ratings Board, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is listed for PlayStation 4.
Revealed as an “console launch exclusive” last year at Xbox’s E3 Conference, it seems that the battle royale will be expanding to other horizons only a little bit more than year after the announcement. As PUBG is already available on both PC and even mobile, this was expected to see at sometime in the near future.
CEO of the game, Chang Han Kim, even stated back in January that he wants the game on every platform. Being that Microsoft had a preview program was better for the game with its notorious bugs and problems, this was more excused until the game reaches the full retail release. Kim mentioned that Sony is strict on games coming to the platform when it comes to the game’s quality.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is available now on Xbox One and PC.
