Although there seemed to be some competition for players to determine which game is the most abruptly popular release from last year, it is evident that InnerSloth’s Among Us remains to still be the most relevant release. That is in particularly due to the accessibility of the game across PC, consoles, and even mobile which skyrocketed the game’s attraction in the first place.

First came the Nintendo Switch version that appeared to be the inevitable with how Among Us is structured. But what came swiftly after that same timeframe is the reveal for Xbox support as well. Even more, InnerSloth is to feature its most successful title on Xbox Game Pass for console later on; is already featured on PC. Which leaves the wait for a PlayStation version to arise sometime later on.

During Thursday’s PlayStation State of Play livestreamed presentation, Sony Interactive Entertainment shares the game is coming to PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 5 later in 2021. There is even an exclusive Ratchet & Clank cosmetic to acquire as well. You can watch the reveal trailer below:

“Among Us is coming to PS4 and PS5 consoles later this year, along with an exclusive Ratchet & Clank skin, hat, and pet just for PlayStation. Featuring crossplay, online multiplayer, and plenty of emergency meetings,” the description for the trailer shares.

Most concerning about console versions of Among Us is how communication will be handled. While mobile and PC use keyboard typing or an on-screen alternative, console does not have that leisure.
