The PlayStation 4 Pro’s power upgrade and 4K abilities have been quiet since the reveal, but it seems that it may not have native 4K. Andrew House has said when it comes to 4K gaming on Ps4 Pro, “the majority [of games] will be upscaled”. So does that mean only a certain type of game such as a first party game will be native 4K, it probably does mean that and you have to think many people at this time in 2016 still don’t own a 4K television due to the crazy prices. The Xbox Scorpio will natively render first party games at 4K says Microsoft.
