Proper integration onto Xbox & PlayStation has been a sight when it comes to apps from Apple. At the launch of the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, Apple TV was officially welcomed. Not to mention the later addition of Apple Music on both PlayStation 5 then Xbox was certainly welcomed as well then. There is more that the firm has in its plans to offer.
Additionally, Apple TV was an offered trial for PlayStation 5 owners. In 2021, the firm announced that users can redeem a 6-month subscription for the streaming service highlighting shows like Ted Lasso and The Foundation. Similarly, Xbox also bundled both Apple TV & Apple Music in a package for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers as well.
This week, Sony Interactive Entertainment announces that a 3-month trial for Apple Music will now be available for all PlayStation 5 owners. Now accounting for more than 75 million users currently, there are a lot that can take advantage of this offer which will be available until March 2026 the following year.
“Apple Music is a streaming service that allows you to listen to over 100 million songs. Its features include the ability to download your favorite tracks and play them offline, lyrics in real time, listening across all your favorite devices, new music personalized just for you, curated playlists, and much more. All this in addition to exclusive and original content,” the FAQ on the promotion offers for the overview.
Noted, this promotion is only eligible for new Apple Music users, it clarifies. “This offer is valid only for new and qualified returning subscribers to Apple Music.” And, the promotion is only redeemable through the console although Apple Music is supported on multiple platforms. “No, redemption is required through your PlayStation 5 console.”
