Key To Gaming has leaked details for what looks to be the PlayStation 5 Pro. ‘Project Trinity’ is the codename for Sony’s upgraded PlayStation 5. The PS5 Pro is targeting a November 2024 release while the majority of studios will receive development kits by late November 2023.
According to their sources, Trinity will have 30 WGP and 18000mts memory. The PlayStation 5 Pro is aiming for a consistent FPS at 4K and a new performance mode for 8K resolutions accelerated by ray tracing. The PlayStation 5 Pro has reportedly been in development since 2022.
They also share that this will be Sony’s last major hardware for this generation. Along with a PlayStation 5 Pro, Sony seems to be getting ready to release a ‘PlayStation 5 Slim‘ this Holiday according to documents in the Microsoft vs FTC case.
Sony revealed the Spider-Man 2 PlayStation 5 Limited Edition console at San Diego Comic-Con along with a DualSense controller and plate covers.
