The PlayStation 5 Slim has been reported to release Holiday 2023 and that looks to be true thanks to a few leaks online. Independent PS4 & PS5 Software Developer, @BwE_Dev on Twitter shared a video showcasing what the PlayStation 5 Slim will look like.

It definitely looks smaller than the original PlayStation 5, but this design has a split in the middle which is new. This would mean Sony would have to sell new plate covers for this version if they plan to do so.
The PlayStation 5 “Slim” is rumored to be priced at $399.99 USD when it comes out sometime during the Holidays. Sony hasn’t officially said anything about this new PlayStation 5, but its more than likely true. It’s also reported that this PS5 won’t be named the Slim and it’ll feature a detachable disc drive.
In related news – Sony is reportedly working on a PlayStation 5 Pro that’ll be releasing in 2024.
