On Friday evening, February 7th, the PlayStation Network went down, and there was no access to playing online, accessing the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Video, PlayStation Direct, and more. Players have not been able to play any games on their console including online multiplayer titles. 

PlayStation Network went down at 6:00 PM ET according to other reports and as of 10:00 AM ET it is still not active. The PlayStation Network status page shows that all services are still down. 

The official PlayStation Support account on X (Twitter) acknowledged that some users might be experiencing issues with PSN. However, Sony has not shared any further updates.

As of now other major online services such as Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch Online, and Steam are working as expected.
