The list of PlayStation Plus offerings continues to grow as 2024 enters the remaining months for this year. In September, the free monthly games included a diverse lineup consisting of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, MLB The Show 24, Little Nightmares II. What’s interesting about this is that the newest Warner Bros. release launched the same day it was added to the service!
Additionally, this month also carved out its Game Catalog titles as well. On September 17th, the list of games featured included titles such as Chernobylite, Night in the Woods, The Plucky Squire, Road 96, Space Engineers, Under the Waves, and Wild Card Football. Rectify Gaming even gave a review for The Plucky Squire – another launch addition for the service – giving it a score of 9/10.
This Tuesday during the hosted State of Play presentation, Sony Interactive Entertainment took time from the showcase to introduce the next headlining titles coming to PlayStation Plus next month. Come October 1st, three new games are coming: WWE 2K 24, Dead Space, and Doki Doki Literature Club Plus.
Noted, all games exempting Dead Space are available on both PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 5. During the same segment of the livestream, Sony Interactive Entertainment also shared its plans for the Game Catalog as well next month. As part of that, the firm revealed that Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part I is prepared to come then as well.
From the free games for October 2024, we urge you check our review for Dead Space. “It’s a return to the survival horror the franchise was known for, and it feels like Dead Space’s unique sci-fi style has been truly perfected for the first time. Every shot, grunt, and pounce come to life and helps scare you when needed. It features excellent audio, which helps make the entire game as eerie as possible.” You can read the full piece by heading here.
