As Pokémon the multi-media franchise treads over two decades of content through video games, television shows, and even consumable food, the brand will continue to move on forward with more to come in terms of content and other projects scheduled for its consumers. Even more, with the approaching addition of Pokémon Day taking place this month, it is certain a major announcement will take place then.
Last year in 2020, The Pokémon Company when hosting its annual Pokémon Day celebration planned to unveil new mythical Pokémon which grabbed the eyes of millions. But for 2021, and the present concerns of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, The Pokémon Company is hosting this year’s event online. Atop of that, it will also feature a virtual concert as well.
As part of the online showcase taking place this month, The Pokémon Company announces there will be a digitalized Post Malone concert that will take place later this week on Pokémon Day. You can watch the teaser trailer in the video below:
“We’re kicking off our yearlong P25 Music program with a virtual concert that only Pokémon and Post Malone could bring you,” the statement from The Pokémon Company reads. “This massive online part is an exciting opportunity to unite Pokémon and music fans around the world. It’s going to be a wild celebration of Pokémon 25 yearsm with lots of unexpected surprised in store.”
Outside of the virtual concert, it is difficult to determine what else The Pokémon Company plans to unveil this coming Saturday. However, one prediction might be the long-awaited Pokémon Diamond & Pokémon Pearl remastered titled. In a recent report, it is suggested the games are to arrive to Nintendo Switch later this year.
