Since the debut of Pokémon Go back in 2016 has grew immensely in popularity around the world with Pokémon fans playing together with the monsters they grew up with. Since the initial hype died down, Niantic hasn’t held back releasing updates to the game bringing more content to the mobile title.

Recently revealed that Pokémon from generation 4 will be making their way to the game starting today. With the starter Pokémon from Diamond and Pearl: Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup have started to appear in the game. Along with a few other mentioned Pokémon that was featured in the trailer for the update.

It was mentioned by developer Niantic that more Pokémon will be making their way in waves within the coming weeks. Either that being through battling in raids or hatching from eggs. It wasn’t discussed what Sinnoh region Pokémon will be coming next as of yet.

Pokémon Go is available no for iOS and Android devices.
