If you ever wanted PC gaming experienced in the palm of your hands, then you’ll be able to do so. The new portable Steam Machine, the Smach Zero, now officially has a release date and price.
Previously known as the Steamboy, the Smach Zero will launch in the fourth quarter of 2016, and pre-ordering will start November 10 of next year. If pre-ordered, it will cost you $299. As stated by Valve, that will be the price for pre-order, and will cost more if you wait later to buy it.
As seen in the picture above, the Smach Zero appears to have both circle pads along with four buttons on each side. The product will contain 4 GBs of RAM, a 720p touchscreen, HDMI output, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, and 32 GB internal storage. Also, it will run an operating system specifically to run Steam.
