Possible Character Announcement For Mortal Kombat 11 Inbound Following Stolen Car Incident

It looks that fans who have been hungry to find out who the two remaining fighters coming to Mortal Kombat 11 via the current Kombat Pass might not have to wait long according to a promise NetherRealm Boss Ed Boon made on twitter during E3 last week.

During the final day of the annual E3 event held in Los Angeles, it was discovered that friend of Ed Boon Shane Satterfield’s car was stolen. Sometime between 9:15 AM and 11:30 AM on June 13th, Satterfield discovered that his Nissan 370Z was missing from the spot he parked a block and a half away from the convention center. After Satterfield confirmed that the vehicle was not towed prior to the announcement, the studio head made a promise that if the vehicle’s location was discovered, a reveal for the next character will be rewarded in return.

Satterfield along with his wife later that night, around 10 PM roughly, found the vehicle not too far from where it was initially stolen from. Though Satterfield confirmed that only an old iPod was missing from the car, he was relieved to have recovered the vehicle in no worse condition. Which ultimately serves as a pass for those who assisted in finding the Nissan’s whereabouts and it not being damaged for Boon to stay true to his word.

Looking at what characters could potentially be announced following the incident is pointing towards Evil Dead’s Ash Williams. The Kombat Pack’s trailer closes with the distinct sound of a chainsaw running in the background for one of the “two more guests” which are inbound for a reveal: which leaves a heavy implication for the television show character. The character can also be stemmed from speculation from the character’s actor showing interest in the coming fighter pack and even findings of Ash through datamining the game’s code.
