PowerA has been the leader in third-party Nintendo Switch accessories for several years now and continues to release more products for its customers. We were recently sent the latest Pikachu Garden line and it’s probably the best collection of accessories we’ve seen from them so far.
You can see the full unboxing video below:
Let’s take a closer look at each of the four accessories and controllers:
The Pikachu Garden Crossbody Bag
The crossbody bag is something new from PowerA that we have not seen before. It’s another way to carry your Nintendo Switch on the go and more secure. If you attend conventions and other events, this is a perfect way to bring it with you on the go, and you can easily take it out when you are waiting in a long line.
You can fit 8 Switch games with you along with a wireless controller and Joy-Cons all in what looks to be a small bag. The design is a bonus on top of what PowerA is offering with the Pikachu Garden Crossbody bag.
The Pikachu Garden Crossbody Bag at Target for only $29.99.
Pikachu Garden Protection Case
Who doesn’t love a nice protection case for their Nintendo Switch? PowerA once again delivers with another stellar design for its protection cases. It’s just as good, if not better than the Fortnite and Sonic the Hedgehog protection case designs.
The Pikachu Garden protection case for Nintendo Switch comes with its usual features like putting in two Joy-Cons, 8 games, and of course your Switch console. What makes this one so unique is the design and it’s a must-have.
You can purchase this Pikachu Garden case at Target for $22.99.
Pikachu Garden Wireless Controller
PowerA is most known for their controllers and usually, it’s wired controllers they have been selling. As of late the company seems to be pressing on wireless controllers for the Nintendo Switch, finally. We saw it with the Fortnite line and now we are seeing it with the Pikachu Garden line.
First off, the packaging from PowerA is always top tier and we’ve never had an issue with damage on the controllers when receiving them. The design and colors on this controller have to be the best ones I’ve seen from PowerA. Not only do you have the regular Pikachu Garden design, but the colors on the sticks, buttons, and back all complement each other. In some areas, you’ll notice a little hint of pink around the controller as well.
You may find the PowerA Enhanced Wireless Controller for Nintendo Switch a little pricey as it’s $64.99 at Target, but it’s wireless so that is where the value is coming from.
Pikachu Garden Nano Wireless Controller
Nano controllers are still a thing! By far the biggest surprise in this entire line is the PowerA Nano Enhanced Wireless Controller for Nintendo Switch. This controller is perfect for anyone who has smaller hands and isn’t comfortable using regular-sized Switch controllers. It’s also perfect for a kid who is just starting their gaming adventure.
What’s neat about the Pikachu Garden Nano controller is that the design is different than the regular wireless controller. From the color combinations to the flower design and to the stance they use on Pikachu.
The PowerA Nano Controller for Nintendo Switch costs $59.99 at Target, so it’s not a huge price difference and that’s likely due to the wireless feature.
How Small Is The PowerA Nano Controller?
The PowerA Nano controller is so small that pretty much my entire hand can cover it. This should give you a better idea of how it looks. Below is a picture comparing the two controllers:
The size difference is very noticeable as well as the design difference. Both are quality in their own ways and perform like any other Switch controllers, but just like all PowerA controllers they come with mappable buttons on the back.
The Pikachu Garden line from PowerA is by far the best they’ve come out with from a design perspective.
