While a straightforward concept, PowerWash Simulator has went on to be a phenomenon for players across the board. With its therapeutic gameplay spraying clean buildings, vehicles, and iconic landmarks, the game has plenty of content. And more can be said for its DLC. At first, the firm in collaboration with publisher Square Enix delivered add-ons featuring other notable franchises like Tomb Raider & Final Fantasy VII in the past.
Then, this changed with its first licensed expansion – Spongebob Squarepants. This featured the iconic locales of the beloved children’s show from Nickelodeon with nearly a dozen hours of new gameplay. Additionally, FuturLab went further with the next DLC underway, Back to the Future. It was confirmed Hill Valley will play as the setting with the Clock Tower, Town Hall, and even the Delorean is to need a cleaning.
Recently, FuturLab & Square Enix confirmed the ‘Back to the Future Special Pack’ is set to release on November 16th. You can watch the new trailer in the video below:
“The Back to the Future Special Pack […] features five new jobs straight from the set of the timeless Back to the Future trilogy from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment. It’s down to you to slough off grease, grime and futuristic filth from Back to the Future’s most memorable vehicles and locations,” the press release reads.
Already this month, PowerWash Simulator shipped for the Meta Quest. Across all major devices, users can now experience the same heighted powerwashing gameplay in virtual reality. You can read the full report by heading here.
