Yesterday was a continuous drop of news revolving around Hideo Kojima’s first debuting title following his sudden leave from Konami as the latest update from his self-published studio detailed that the previous rumors suggesting that Death Stranding will launch in November to be true. Along with the game’s settled release in the open now, pre-order bonuses along with the few different editions available for the title have also been revealed.
For those who pre-order the upcoming, cinematic adventure title will receive an handful of in-game cosmetics along with some extra goodies to personalize your PlayStation home screen and PlayStation Network Avatar:
- Gold “Sam” Sunglasses
- Gold Hat
- Gold Armor Plate
- Gold Speed Skeleton
- PS4 Dynamic Theme
- Chibi Ludens (PSN Avatar)
As for the different pre-order bundles that are available for users to pay ahead of the game’s release, there are four different editions to choose from: Standard Edition, Special Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, and Collector’s Edition.
The Standard Edition is self-explanatory as it will include the base game and extra content mentioned above. The Special Edition will include the base game along with a specialize steelbook, digital download for the game’s soundtrack, and Gold “Ludens Mask” Sunglasses in-game cosmetic.
For the Digital Deluxe Edition, it will include a wardrobe of exclusive in-game cosmetics, soundtrack download, 10 PSN avatars, and digital download for the base game. The beefy Collector’s Edition includes all previously mentioned content (excluding digital download for game), also offering a BRIDGES cargo case, Full-Sized BB Pod, and Ludens keychain.

Earlier today, journalist Antonio Fucito who previously disclosed the title’s release date, also revealed that the game could potentially be a timed exclusive with a 2020 release window for PC.
Death Stranding will be out on November 8, 2019 for PlayStation 4.
