Previously it was revealed that the developer team behind the Yakuza series was tackling on a new title called Project Judge. With a glimpse of the story and gameplay, we were left without a confirmed date for the game’s release or a confirmed name for the upcoming title.
But more recently at the Kinda Funny Games Showcase revealed a trailer that answered both questions for the action adventure title. Developer Ryu Ga Gotoku in the new trailer introduced the new name of the title as Judgement, along with a release window for when we could expect the title.
Along with the more confirming news, the trailer also featured English speaking voice actors for the first time as well in respect for the upcoming Western release. Despite the trailer being less zany compared to prior ones, it still leaves a firm impression with high intentions leading towards the game’s launch.
Judgement will be coming to PlayStation 4 in Summer 2019.
