Psyonix has announced on Twitter that Rocket League has now reached 40 million players across the world on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
Last July Rocket League had hit 33 million players so in just the span of 6 months it managed to grow by another 7 million players across multiple platforms. Along with that Psyonix partnered with Warner Bros. in 2017 to start selling physical retail editions of the game.
Rocket League will be turning 3 years old already this year as it launched in 2015 and has come a long way but it doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon as they’ll be announcing details about season 7 later this month.
