Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive are for now, ready to release Grand Theft Auto 6 in Fall 2025. Take-Two revealed in a recent financial earnings call that the highly anticipated game will be released in late 2025. However, that can change, and as Jason Schreier from Bloomberg states, Rockstar has missed multiple deadlines, but they are back on track.
GTA 6 is going to feature a large online mode, selling in-game content that is created to generate revenue for many years to come. Grand Theft Auto 6 is no doubt going to take over the video game industry when it releases, and the anticipation has competing game publishers waiting to commit to a release date.

Publishers Are Waiting For The Grand Theft Auto VI’s Release Date
According to Jason Schreier, game publishers are waiting as long as they can before they commit to their release dates for the Fall. The publishers sitting back want to see if GTA 6 will reach its deadline for Fall 2025 or if it will be moved to 2026.
The sources close to Jason from Bloomberg say they want to keep their games as far away as possible from GTA 6.
