Puma and Tetris Partner Up For Game-Inspired Shoes

Videogame apparel continues to be more and more common seeing how familiar the industry gets with the general market. But what makes certain items standout is when major name brand clothing lines collab with specific developers to bring exclusive items to store shelves. More, recently, PlayStation did something similar with Nike to bring console-themed shoes.

This time, it is a partnership between Puma and Tetris to bring a tetromino-inspired pair of shoes.

Since the reveal of the new pair of shoes, the official Tetris Twitter account retracted the initial images and replaced it with the tweet you see above. It is unsure why deciding to remove the original tweet, but it’s best to assume that the images were not ready to be revealed, just yet at least.

From what can be contrived from the initial tweet, not a lot was released on what the shoe will look like to be honest. But from what can be contrived from the only surviving image, the upcoming shoe will have its treads resemble a pattern of the iconic Tetris blocks on the bottom of the shoe.

Currently, the shoe is set to release this coming October later in 2019.
