A new report released from Dealabs shares that Quake II ‘Remastered’ will be announced at QuakeCon 2023. The Quake Convention will take place from August 10 to August 13 at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas. It is suggested that an improved version of Quake II will be released during this event.
It’s believed Quake II is receiving an enhancement and won’t be named a Remaster as we like to call it. It will simply be named ‘Quake II’.
The official rating of the game will be made on ESRB’s website on August 11 or on the evening of August 10, 2023. Dealabs, Billbil-kun also shared Quake II will be coming to PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series XlS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
Another point brought up is that Bethesda will be publishing the game which could mean it’ll end up on Xbox Game Pass Day One. Since Bethesda is now part of Xbox Game Studios many of their releases have ended up on Game Pass the day it releases.
Dealabs has become a reliable source of leaks with the Vapor Stormcloud Xbox Controller most recently. There’s no doubt this news about Quake II could be real.
