Rainbow Six Mobile Closed Beta Starts Today

Mobile shooters are on the rise over the last few years. With this pioneered by Call of Duty with the same-named Mobile title, the tides continue with more on the way. In a later reveal, Activision shared hirings already began for Warzone’s adaptation to smartphones as well. But, it goes beyond just one franchise.

Elsewhere, Apex Legends is becoming a forefront for this as well. So much so that the separate release is shipping unique Legends ahead of the main platforms. Not to mention the undergoing Battlefield port for mobile devices too. Back in April, Ubisoft even announced Rainbow Six is receiving its own mobile title as well.

During the recent Ubisoft Forward showcase, it was announced that Rainbow Six Mobile is launching its closed beta on Monday, September 12th. You can watch the new trailer in the video below:

“Android users in the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, the Philippines, Singapore, and India are eligible to sign up for a chance to join the beta on Google Play. If selected, they’ll be able to try out Rainbow Six Mobile’s new progression and Operator unlock systems, complete with a free battle pass and daily challenges, as well as a new map, Clubhouse,” the description from the blog post reads.

Adding, “The closed beta will feature 16 Operators (including Ash, Sledge, and Hibana) and content from previous test phases (with visual and gameplay improvements), including the Bomb and Secure Area game modes and the Bank and Border maps.” For those interested, you can sign-up for the closed beta via Google Play Store by heading here.
