Just this past weekend developer Media Molecule announced that the Early Access segment of Dreams will officially end, and without even hesitating also forgot to shed some light on what’s in the future for the upcoming project. And to make things look even more unsettling at the time as well, it was later on confirmed that support for PlayStation VR would also not be primed for launch whenever that is.

But despite players withheld from playing with virtual reality headsets in the coming months through Dreams, the title will in fact be coming in just a few short months, Sony Interactive Entertainment confirms.

During today’s PlayStation State of Play live show, Dreams was revealed to officially arrive to PlayStation 4 this coming Valentine’s Day. You can watch the new trailer which showcasing some of the creations already made by the community below:

What is new aside from the slated release date for Dreams is the new patch that just dropped for indreams.me, the game’s social hub for how players can browse through the plethora of different creations made specifically for the game. The most apparent change is the new layout that was applied following directly after today’s announcement, so users should notice a new look for the app. Another exciting feature is the inclusion of public users to finally access the domain as the game is now out of Early Access.

Other minimal additions that have made its way to the site is integration of playlists, a queue for Play Later so players can list experience they have not yet launched, image galleries to show off what you made, a character increase for your creation’s description, and ‘Thumbs-up’ to show your approval of others creations.

What are you looking to do first when Dreams launches?

Dreams will be available on February 14, 2020 for PlayStation 4.
