Update: ReCore Definitive Edition spotted at Microsoft Store for $19.99. This pretty much confirms it’s coming out later this month and should be officially announced at Gamescom in three days.
We reported back in April an exclusive article regarding 4K games coming to Xbox One X namely ReCore which we wrote “ ReCore Definitive Edition is coming to Scorpio (and Xbox One) with 4K support via a patch, bumping the game from 5.6GB to 12GB, approximately. We were provided pictures showing ReCore at 4K and can confirm they look extremely detailed, exquisite and almost dreamlike.” Gears of War 4, Halo 5, Forza & more.
A Twitter user has reported a Definitive Edition is coming later this month for ReCore bringing new features such as:
- HDR (High Dynamic Range)
- New Mission – “Eye of Obsidian”
- Improved graphics
The user has also shared the promotional picture of ReCore Definitive Edition. It’s reported Microsoft will make this edition available for free for those who already own the game, and replace the standard edition for this edition. Last month, gamers were seeing Definitive Edition in their Ready to Install list before disappearing shortly after.
Xbox Gamescom is happening this Sunday and according to ReCore official Twitter, we should be hearing more about the supposedly Definitive Edition.
