Already, 2023 has been blessed with the release of Resident Evil 4 Remake. And despite many fans enjoying the game on PlayStation 5, a PlayStation 4 version is aimed to ship in the near future. But it doesn’t end there. Previously, Mercenaries Mode rolled out for the game giving players even more reason to jump on the newest release.

Additionally, a free virtual reality mode for PlayStation VR 2 is also underway, Capcom promised. Amid the excitement of the remake for the 2005 classic, Resident Evil 4 Remake also met over 5 million in sales this year alone. And looking ahead, that number is expected to grow with Apple confirming the game will be playable on iPhone Pro & Pro Max as well.

During the Thursday PlayStation State of Play, Capcom revealed DLC ‘Separate Ways’ is launching next week. The footage also showcases the upcoming VR Mode as well. You can watch the trailer in the video below:

“Separate Ways tells the story of Ada Wong and her parallel journey through the events of Resident Evil 4, filling in unanswered questions from the main story. The full story will be revealed as you view both sides of events from both Ada and Leon’s viewpoints,” promotion producer Edvin Edsö writes.

“Before Leon S. Kennedy had even set foot in that cursed village, she was there. Her mission? The retrieval of the cult’s darkest secret—the Amber. Now Ada must deal with an unknown threat that is devouring her from within, an accomplice with a dark past and ulterior motives, and a chance reunion with the man she least expected—Leon S. Kennedy. Why did she accept this mission? And what path will she make for herself in the shadow of Leon’s investigation into the abduction of the president’s daughter?”
