While Electronics Arts-owned developer Respawn Entertainment is currently working on the fine tunings for the recently released Season 6 for Apex Legends, it should also be noted that another project is currently underway from the studio. Revealed during last year’s Oculus Connect almost a year ago, the Titanfall team has announced to be working on a new Medal of Honor game for the virtual reality platform.

Given the title ‘Above and Beyond’, Respawn Entertainment illustrated already in the initial reveal to be very ambitious to push the envelope of a captivating release for the peripheral. But now during the Gamescom Opening Night Live today, the team has shared a new trailer giving players a better gist of how the game will operate when it ships.

You can watch the story trailer in the video below:

“Charge into history in Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond’s thrilling single-player campaign.,” the overview spares in the video’s description. “As an agent of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) in war-torn Europe, players will take part in historic events on land, air, and sea; sabotaging Nazi bases, subverting enemy plans, and aiding the French Resistance.”

Initially during the inception for Above and Beyond, it was told that Medal of Honor veteran Peter Hirschmann will be involved with the development of the new VR game. That on top of the experience that Zampella and majority of the team has acquired from working on the original  Modern Warfare series and later onto Titanfall, the new project will surely be a game you do not want to miss out on.

In relevance to Oculus, it was revealed this week that parent company Facebook will be rebranding the firm. In that, Oculus will now be dubbed Facebook Reality Labs and the same-named Oculus Connect is now Facebook Connect. You can read the full report by heading here.
