This past week, Bethesda returned with a new trailer disclosing the next expansion for the ever growing MMO Elder Scrolls Online. This time, players will have the opportunity to return to the iconic Stormcloak landscape of Skyrim from the developer’s 2011 title with the Greymoor story expansion.
Provided from the synopsis that was posted with the new cinematic for the upcoming content adventure, players will explore the notorious settlement of snow-blanketed vistas to uncover the cause for this “First Era awakening.” You can watch the new trailer below:
Parallel to the announcement for the newest expansion, Bethesda also shares a new year-long experience that will be releasing throughout the course of 2020. Debuting this new initiative next month in February with the Harrowstorm DLC: a specialized adventure which offers two new dungeons to investigate which will then segue to the events commencing Greymoor. There are additional content pieces that will be added later in the year which have yet to be disclosed.
Bethesda also revealed that Greymoor will include a new Antiquities feature that will be prevalent in the upcoming expansion. Revealing that upon discovering the hidden relics imbedded within Skyrim will initiate a slew of different minigames which will then awards the players with tangible rewards or items.
Of course, there are pre-order bonuses for fans who decide to pick up the expansion ahead of its release. These goodies included from pre-purchasing are the Holdbreaker Warhorse Armor, Jarl Finery & Crown, Nightfall Preview Crate, and Sacrificial Pocket Mammoth Pet.
