Before we go onto our impressions of the Kone II Mouse, let’s appreciate the outer shell, yes the design of it and its RGB colors. Through the Swarm II app, you will be able to customize a lot with the gaming mouse including its colors and button functionality. Turtle Beach nailed down the RGB basics by allowing you to change the colors however you want with a few effects available as well.
Fully Customizable
There are 23 programmable functions with the Kone II Gaming Mouse and you will be able to program the left and right clicks, the three side buttons, and the buttons up top including the 4D scroll wheel to function a certain way in games like League of Legends, World of Warcraft, Apex Legends, and a lot more. You can even set profiles for Photoshop.
Comfortability & Performance
The Turtle Beach Kone II Gaming Mouse is extremely comfortable and perfect for individuals with large hands. The additional grips included with the Kone II mouse are also a nice option to add. The side of the mouse where your thumb rests, near the side buttons, has never felt so comfortable on a gaming mouse.
The Kone II performs insanely well. One of the features that I was shocked by is the 4D mouse wheel making it a fresh addition and a step above its competitors. There are different ways to click with the unique mouse wheel the Kone II has to offer. The mouse is highly accurate and has no issues with response when playing games or just general use.
Playing games like Helldivers II, Apex Legends, RuneScape, or Frostpunk 2 I’ve had nothing but a great experience. One thing that I will say about the mouse is its size. If you have small hands then the Kone II may not exactly be for you.
