Rocket League dev excited about Nintendo Switch

One title that fans have been wanting for the Nintendo Switch is Rocket League. If the upcoming console can support a game like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe then why can’t it run Rocket League?
Psyonix, developers of Rocket League have commented on the Switch and in the statement they were excited for it and they are hopeful it could come to the console.

“We are excited as you are regarding the release of Nintendo Switch however, we don’t have enough information at this time if it will happen. For the mean time, let’s both keep our fingers crossed that it will. For all the latest information on upcoming releases, updates, and other news, please visit the Rocket League Facebook page or follow us on Twitter!”

Rocket League was released in 2015 for Steam and PlayStation and then Xbox One in 2016.
This is not the first time Psyonix commented on the Switch, back when it was considered the NX they said they would consider putting the game on it.
Our take:
I think Rocket League will come to the Nintendo Switch, but with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe launching in April I’d think they’ll want to wait until Summer or Fall to officially release the game so it is not competing with another game of its type.
