Of course, as we continue to welcome the new wave of consoles – Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 – the question continues to grow as to what games will and will not be playable on the platform. While backwards compatibility is a priority this generation from both Microsoft and Sony, there are still a threshold of titles that are not to be supported.

For Xbox, Microsoft tells that over thousands of games are to be available divided between each generation of Xbox, however, Kinect-supported games are to be negated from the equation. On Sony’s PlayStation, there are just close to a dozen games that will not be playable coming November 12/November 19 later this month.

Regardless, majority of those game will be eligible including the glowing library of games from Rockstar Games. In a new blog post, the firm lists what games will be transitioning over to the next-generation of systems. You can read the full lineup in the list below:

Rockstar Games Presents Table Tennis

As for the most anticipated Grand Theft Auto V & Red Dead Redemption II, Rockstar Games confirms progress from both GTA Online as well as Red Dead Online will carry over to the next-generation of systems. Similarly, the same can also be said for the lineup of supported Electronic Arts titles that are backwards compatible. The firm does list some titles to receive enhancements from the newer hardware, but it varies based on the game.

More so, Ubisoft also provided a list on next-gen titles that are available on both platforms. For the sake of the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, the publisher lists the resolution and framerate upgrades for its games. You can read the full report by heading here.

Which of the mentioned Rockstar Games’ titles are you most excited to replay on newer hardware?
