Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption 2 confirmed to have microtransactions

The much-anticipated Rockstar’s western title Red Read Redemption 2 is now confirmed to have ‘recurrent consumer spending opportunities’ or in other words microtransactions. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick claimed that microtransactions accounted for 42% of Take-Two’s income in the past quarter for the company:
“We aim to have recurrent consumer spending opportunities for every title that we put out at this company. It may not always be an online model, it probably won’t always be a virtual currency model, but there will be some ability to engage in an ongoing basis with our titles after release across the board.”

This form of payment is available in almost every big-budget games like Forza Motorsport 7, GTA V, NBA 2K, FIFA, Halo 5, Call of Duty, Battlefront 2 and many major games, plus whether you like it or not, it won’t be leaving anytime soon. We will be here following this news closely.
