It is finally official, Roller Champions will be releasing as a free-to-play title next week on May 25th. The game will be available on PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series XlS and PC via Ubisoft Connect. Versions for Nintendo Switch, iOS/Android, and Stadia are actively being worked on and will not be ready for launch.

Roller Champions will feature seasons starting with the Kickoff Season at launch.  The game will feature casual matches, ranked and of course custom games. When switching platforms you will be able to keep your progression. The team is still working on cross play for custom matches and team creation which will be available in a later season.

The game will also feature its own Battle Pass system named the Roller Pass which will include exclusive items that you will never be able to obtain again once the season is over. There will also be fan progression, you can earn fans within the game by playing matches, earning your daily bonus or complete sponsor challenges and this all ties into the Roller Pass progression.

Many fans think Roller Champions has what it takes to be the next big esport, do you agree?
