Sony might have a busy year of game releases whether it’s brand-new games or remakes. It was already reported that the “PlayStation E3” will take place in May. More PlayStation remakes look to be on the way as insider, Shpeshal Nick of the Xbox Era podcast reports a remake of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune is in the works.
Uncharted Drake’s Fortune was initially released on November 19, 2007, for PlayStation 3 and it was part of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection which was made for PlayStation 4 with remastered versions of earlier games in the series.
According to Nick’s sources, it has been strongly considered and the recent focus on remakes aligns with Sony’s decision. Since you can play Drake’s Fortune on PlayStation 5 already through the Uncharted Collection it wouldn’t make sense to come out with the game again.

It would make more sense for a Drake’s Fortune Remake as they’d change features rather than enhance the graphics and gameplay. As always we have to take rumors like these with a grain of salt until it becomes official.
What do you think about the idea of a Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune Remake?
