The Nintendo Switch 2 reveal is bound to happen any day at this point and more leaks and rumors are spreading about what games it will support. NateTheHate has reported on his podcast that Final Fantasy XVI, VII Remake, and VII Rebirth are planned to be released on Xbox Series X|S starting this year. It was also mentioned the Nintendo Switch 2 would get these games as well.
Nate also reported on his podcast that Xbox is planning to support the Nintendo Switch 2 with some of its most iconic franchises. The leaker suggests Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be coming to the Switch 2 along with Microsoft Flight Simulator. Nate also says Halo: MCC will be coming to the PlayStation 5.
This wouldn’t be a huge surprise anymore since Microsoft made it clear they want games anywhere possible and it started in 2024. We saw Sea of Thieves and Hi-Fi Rush among the biggest releases from Xbox that will arrive on PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
Halo: MCC includes Halo Combat Evolved, Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2, Halo 2 Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 4, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo: Reach. That includes multiplayer and campaign.
It is a bold claim by NateTheHate, but it does seem realistic. However, we must take this news with a grain of salt.
