Rumor: SNES Games Coming To Switch According To Dataminer


Last week it was revealed that both The Legend of Zelda II and Blaster Master will be the latest additions to coming to the NES for Nintendo Switch Online. Now it seems the next wave of titles to come to Nintendo’s hybrid console will be from the NES’s succeeding platform, the SNES.

According to a dataminer for the Switch, Twitter user @KappuccinoHeck discovered a roster of titles for the SNES when digging through the NES App. You can read the 22 titles found below:

  • Super Mario Kart
  • Super Soccer
  • Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past
  • Demon’s Crest
  • Yoshi’s Island
  • Stunt Race FX
  • Kirby’s Dream Course
  • Pop’n Twinbee
  • Star Fox
  • Contra 3
  • Kirby Super Star
  • Super Ghouls ‘n Ghosts
  • Kirby’s Dream Land 3
  • Super Metroid
  • Super Mario World
  • Pilotwings
  • F-ZERO
  • Star Fox 2
  • Super Punch-Out!!
  • The Legend of the Mystical Ninja
  • Super Mario All-Stars
  • Breath of Fire 2

This would be a major upgrade to the already available NES titles that all Switch Online Service owners are gifted when becoming an subscriber. For when users will see the titles will be going live on Nintendo Switch is undetermined until Nintendo officially reveals the addition of SNES for the platform.
