The legacy of Tom Clancy lives on in 2018 with The Division 2 announced recently, and now possibly seeing a return of Sam Fisher in 2018 also.
Recently discovered on Amazon Canada by fans of the franchise of a listing for Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell 2018. Said that it is owned by Ubisoft, but no listed platforms for the games. And no feature box art nor confirming that the game will be releasing this year despite the year in the title.
As of yet, the link leading to the listing has been taken down and making it unable pull up the page. But the model number for the listing seems to help stir this rumor further with it as “E3TomClancy’sSplinterCell2018_PC”. Implying that the game will most likely be announce later this June at Ubisoft’s E3 Showcase.
And putting more hope into this possibly being truth, the last Splinter Cell title, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, released and 2013 and prior to that was Splinter Cell: Conviction in 2010. That Means giving the teams over at Ubisoft a 5 year period to work on the next title.
