During The Game Awards on December 7, Sega made a surprise appearance sharing they will be bringing back classic IPs like Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, Shinobi, and others in the form of remakes, remasters, or reboots. According to a reliable Sega insider, the Jet Set Radio title will be a reboot instead of a remastered version that was initially planned.

The Jet Set Radio game is a reboot and is planned to launch in 2026. The Leaker states the reboot was going to originally release in 2017 but things have changed since. He also mentions all of these games that Sega’s bringing back will be coming to the next Nintendo hardware.

This reboot will apparently have new characters along with old characters with a brand-new story.

Sega has not mentioned anything about the Jet Set Radio reboot, but this leaker has been correct in the past. As always we will have to take this as a rumor until an official announcement is made from the company itself.
