UPDATE: According to sources close with Rod Breslau, say that Apex Legends, the name of this free to play Titanfall Hero Battle Royale title will be playable on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game will feature classes and heroes with unique abilities and with a maximum of 60 players in each server with a maximum of 3 players per team. There will also be micro-transactions and lootboxes for cosmetic items and in game content which will be similar to how Overwatch does it. Surprisingly enough there will be no titans involved with Apex Legends.
Apex Legends will feature classes/heroes with unique abilities, maximum of 60 players per server, maximum of 3 players per team (trios) to compliment each other. No titans. Just as Titanfall and Titanfall 2, Apex Legends will run on a modified version of Valve's Source engine.

ORIGINAL: Respawn Entertainment for the most part the past year have been keeping to themselves on their upcoming projects. Up until now, the only game we know is on the way currently is Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order which was slightly discussed during the most recent EA Play back in June.
According to a recent leak from Youtuber, TheQuartering, Respawn is days or even hours away from revealing a new title revolving around Titanfall to release this coming Saturday or the following Monday if not. Titled Apex Legends, the unannounced game is said to be battle royale title set in the Titanfall universe. “It will look like a crossover between Call of Duty Blackout and Rainbow Six Siege,” the YouTuber says.
With teams up to three players, the game will have up to sixty players in total to go against one another until the last team is standing. There will be a variation of characters to choose from, “similar to Overwatch”, and will be a fresher take on the genre. Microtransactions will also be present in the unrevealed title, but is said to be much easier and less convoluted compared to competing titles.
If the title is to debut this coming weekend, Apex Legends will be available following the reveal and is free-to-play.
TheQuartering before discussing the disclosed title, he did detail to hold back creating the video in Respawn’s favor to give the game a proper announcement. But three emails later the studio did not respond to his question and left him to create the video we have in front of us.
Seeing how supported the rumored title is from the information given in the video, this seems likely that we will have a new game from the ex-Call of Duty 4 developer within the next day or two.
What are your thoughts on the next Titanfall title possibly being a battle royale?
Titanfall 2 is available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
