During the Marvel Gaming panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con yesterday, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 took the stage for a brief moment to share what’s planned to come to the game as part of the first wave of downloadable content. While Nintendo did share that the game is expected to give some attention to the X-Men series at E3 last month, that is not all the developer had planned to be making an introduction to the latest in the series.
Marvel announced that the first of three character packs that are available with the game’s expansion pass will include Thor’s brother Loki alongside X-Men Cyclops and Colossus. Stating that on August 30h net month, the three heroes will be making their way to the game.
As for the two remaining character packs, Marvel revealed that another slot will be taken by the Fantastic Four, meaning that The Thing, Mister Fantastic, Invisible Girl, and Human Torch will be the next inbound bundle of characters for the game. Following with the last character pack to include Marvel Knights, which is deprive of Blade, Moon Knight, and Morbius.
In other news regarding the Marvel-hosted panel this week, Marvel shared that the Marvel’s Avengers demo that was showcased, and leaked, will be tweaked and receive a proper reveal the week following Gamescom next month.
