A new God of War game might be in development thanks to a job posting from Santa Monica Studio, the masterminds behind God of War 2018 and God of War Ragnarok. The PlayStation Studio is looking to hire a Combat Designer that has knowledge of the previous state God of War games.

The job listing was made on Santa Monica’s website and this is how the requirement was worded:

Must have knowledge of God of War (2018) and God of War Ragnarök (2022) and be able to speak in depth about the combat systems, mechanics, and enemies

That was the last thing mentioned on a list that has lengthy requirements to be a Combat Designer. This could indicate that a new God of War game is in development and has been for quite a while. Thanks to Reddit for catch this.

Nothing has been said from Sony or Santa Monica officially about a new God of War game, but only one can assume a new game will come basing off the success of the franchise as of late.
